ENGLISH YOUTH BALLET TRIUMPH!

We are very proud of Eloise Newell, Eden Lowe and Alexandra Willcocks who have all been selected to dance in ‘The Nutcracker’ at the new Theatre in Aylesbury on the 5th and 6th November 2010 with The English Youth Ballet. Over 200 children auditioned – well done girls!!!

Summer School 2010

Our annual Summer School will take place on Monday 23rd August – Friday 27th August at Shenley Leisure Centre. Letters and enrolment forms will be available from all teachers from Tuesday 8th June for you to book your place!

ISTD Major Modern Results….

Congratulations to Cara Simcock, Sophia Campbell, Laura Haynes, Francesca Buckland and Lauren Finlayson who all achieved A’s in their Intermediate Modern exam which was taken at Headquaters in London. Fantastic results!!!!!

Alexandra’s National Youth Ballet Success…

Following an audition in February and a recall in March, Alexandra Willcocks has successfully gained a place as a junior cast member with the National Youth Ballet and will be performing with them for the 2010 season, with a gala performance to be held in London later this year. We are extremely proud of Alex and wish her the best of luck for the performances.

Dance Explosion tickets go on sale on Monday 22nd March. We are expecting a really high demand for the tickets so be sure to book yours early to avoid dissappointment. The tickets are avialable through your dance teacher or through the allocated sales person in Shenley Leisure Centre Reception.

Chloe joins English Youth Ballet

Chloe Johnston has got through extremely competitive auditions to be given a place in the English Youth Ballet. She will be performing in the Giselle at the New Wimbledon Theatre in London on the 16th and 17th April 2010. Congratulations to Chloe!

New pupils/School show…

We are currently working towards our school show, ‘Dance Explosion’ and therefore cannot take on any new pupils at this time. We are still taking enquiries for classes and can put you on a waiting list ready to start on the week of the 10th May after the show. It would be great if you could come and see our performances at Stantonbury Theatre so you can see all of the children in action!
