Tap

Tap is an enjoyable form of recreational dance. Its rhymical style is defined by the use of movement which is explored through the grades.

The school follows the I.S.T.D. syllabus, with classes from Primary through to Advanced standard.

At the earlier stages the children are encouraged to develop rhythm through their dance, this leads to a good sense of style and technique as they progress through the grades.

Uniform requirements for Tap from Primary to Grade V consist of a Navy Blue Catsuit or Navy Blue leotard and lycra leggings and Black tap shoes. It is also permittable for dancers to wear Navy Blue or Black jazz pants.

An Adult Tap class is also available, at Beginners and Advanced standard.
